As senior director of investments with Oppenheimer & Co. Inc., Stella DeSantis collaborates with clients to develop individualized portfolio strategies. She considers each client's income streams and short- and long-term goals, as well as risk tolerance and need for liquid assets. In consolidating this information, Stella DeSantis develops an understanding of the client's overall financial picture and can then proactively monitor and adjust portfolios accordingly.
Stella DeSantis comes to her current role following more than 16 years with Morgan Stanley/Smith Barney, where she served as first vice president. A member of the firm's Century Club, she also distinguished herself as a member of the company's Blue Chip Council.
Ms. DeSantis began her career as a senior sales representative with Scherrer Resources, the developer of the Broker's Ally software. Before this she served as a legal secretary at the firm of Rawle & Henderson, where she earned funds to pursue her bachelor of business administration (BBA) at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. She also holds series 7, 31, 63, and 65 licenses from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).
